Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates actions with operations to ensure that the quality system procedures meet or exceed applicable ISO/TL standards with regards to IQC & DBU
Review day to day activities with priorities for inspection for regular parts in coordination with Planners/Procurement or with regards to FIFO basis
Coordinate FA reviews with SQE & IQC Inspectors and be part of the decision making process for part approval process and also coordinate and lead MRBs for Incoming rejects
Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, provide support with process documentation and metrics identification, participate in collaborative cross-functional teams to deliver companywide quality solutions incorporating best practices, lead local improvement projects, establishing benchmarks and best practices and aligning with overall business goals for areas on responsibility
Supports manufacturing by assisting in problem solving activities as quality issues arise in production due to supplier parts by working in coordination with the supplier quality team and procurement.
Supports investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and measurement of the effectiveness of corrective actions with regards to shipping and transportation issues in DBU
Coordinate regular transportation & quality reviews with the DBU team at planned intervals
Conduct/Coordinate Audits in DBU with regards to storage, shipping and material handling.
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding quality issues with all customers (Internal and External) in a timely manner
Coordinate for calibration of all site equipments and maintain calibration records
Constant improvement or reinvestment incorporating best practices for a new systems and current system enhancements
Directs the work of employees by giving them direction and work assignments as needed to support operations, prioritize workload.
Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
/ 8-10 Years of Related Experience in Quality in manufacturing industry
Bachelors in related curriculum such as Quality / Mechanical / Electrical or Industrial Engineering w/ 5-8 Years of Related Experience in Quality in manufacturing industry

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
Work experience of a statistical, engineering, or technical background
Familiarity with ISO9000/TL9000 Quality Systems with implementation or other applicable professional experience.
Working knowledge of basic and advanced Quality tools such as; Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Poke Yoke, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing etc.
The ability to monitor effectiveness of quality programs and implement corrective action programs on an as needed basis.
Assertiveness and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Ability to develop and implement structured QA processes, procedures and CTQ measures in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential
Ability to articulate (verbally & in writing), defend and negotiate Quality expectations with internal and external customers at all levels of management
Ability to drive change where required.
Travel might be required
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, statistical and presentation software
Preferred proficiency in SAP

Salary: INR 5,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A.
